Our development laboratories are equipped and staffed to provide process support that meets your specific application requirements. We are happy to demonstrate how plasma can improve your process yields and product reliability by running samples for you, free of charge.

We have two laboratory facilities located in the United States. Our Primary R&D lab is located at corporate headquarters in Concord, California and our primary Printed Circuit Board lab and contract services facility located in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Local Applications Team

James Getty

James D. Getty, Director - Applications and Business Development

Dr. Getty leads March’s Applications Engineering and Business Development activities, including the Marketing activities supporting the business’ Semiconductor, Printed Circuit Board, and Life Sciences market segments. Dr. Getty joined March in 2000. Prior to March Dr. Getty has held positions in the semiconductor industry. Dr. Getty has a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California at Davis.

 

David Foote

Jack Zhao, Senior Applications Scientist

Dr. Zhao joined March in 2001. He is responsible for application process development, R&D and key account support. Prior to March Dr. Zhao has held positions in the university system and semiconductor industry. Dr. Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has been working in the plasma application field for more than 10 years.

 

David Foote

David Foote, Sr. Staff Applications Engineer

Mr. Foote has an extensive background in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) with a focus on plasma enhanced CVD. Prior to working with March he developed processes in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industries. He holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Foote has been granted over 35 patents.

 

David Foote

Lou Fierro, Senior PCB Applications Engineer

Mr. Fierro joined March Plasma Systems in 1997. Prior to coming to March he spent more than 23 years in engineering, building rigid, flex and exotic printed circuit boards. He now manages applications and contract service at March Plasma Systems Florida facility. Mr. Fierro is also responsible for process development and technical support.
